I've used PSE since version 4 and upgraded many times since. It's never been the fastest program but I've been content with the fact that digital processing is a computer intensive task. Version 2019 however is a dog. On first installation, it will lock up if you so much as dare to click on anything. Once it has completed face recognition of all your pictures, it seems to lock up less but it's still horribly slow.
